Oleg Fesov - Atmospheric Traditional

The War of Tajikistan during the 90’s led Oleg Fesov to emigrate from his country, Tajikistan, to Moscow and later to Germany. During these trips he always carried with him a great love for the traditional Tajik music. His passion is clearly reflected in his compositions, where subtle rhythms and soft melodies in Sitar, Oud or Guitar, are accompanied by the calmed sound of his own voice. All this brought together in a tranquilizing atmosphere created by keyboards, a sign of Western influence.
